Your Favorite Pet Stylists

Ever since I can remember I've been spending time caring for animals as a pet sitter, pet wellness sales rep, kennel attendant, and being a foster and volunteer for my local shelter. All this led me to my dream career of pet grooming which allows me to have a big impact on the pets health and happiness. I grew up in California and moved to Fairbanks, Alaska after high school. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. Outside work, I enjoy drawing and baking. 

From volunteering at the animal shelter, fostering rescues, and tending to livestock on my family farm, animals have always been a big part of my life. So pet grooming was a natural next step for my career. The joy of seeing their happy faces and wagging tails after a grooming session is priceless. I was born in Fairbanks but grew up in Florida. I came back to my hometown because living in Alaska was a dream I shared with my husband. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I enjoy hiking and photography.

I love that I have the ability and patience to work with pets. I’ve always had a deep love for animals and knew that I wanted to dedicate my life to them. It’s rewarding to help an animal feel reassured and safe while making them look beautiful for the pet parents. I have over a decade of experience grooming pets and my specialty is hand scissoring. I grew up in California and moved to Alaska with my military husband. Outside grooming, I enjoy reading, baking and cooking with my husband.  

I've always been captivated by the wonders of the animal world. My childhood was filled with pets of all shapes and sizes, but it was the companionship of dogs that truly left a lasting mark on my heart. Pet grooming allows me the opportunity to continually expand my knowledge and skills, as well as build connections with pet parents. Everyday I look forward to wagging tails, wet noses, and endless affection that animals bring to my world. 

 I love how every pet has a unique personality and I like building trust with people and animals to help them flourish into their best selves. I knew I wanted to work with animals as early as preschool, when I told everyone I wanted to be a zookeeper! I moved to Alaska in 2012 and fell in love with this place soon after. I enjoy spending time at home with my cats, watercolor painting, listening to music and podcasts, and taking walks along the Chena river.  

My passion for animals blossomed when I first visited Alaska and experienced mushing with sled dogs. That led to endless hours dedicated to learning about dogs, adopting rescues and filling my personal and work life with animals. Everyday I continue to grow my skills and knowledge in animal care. I am a tireless advocate for dogs and am always happy to talk with clients to help educate and inform about pet well-being. I have 5 dogs and enjoy spending time outdoors with them.
